Royal Wedding Tea Party Banner
A celebration like my royal wedding tea party breakfast definitely calls for decorations. I'm pretty no-fuss when it comes to parties, though, so I pulled out my trusty Cricut Explore Air 2 to do all the hard work for me. In just minutes with my Cricut, I was able to whip up a beautiful royal wedding tea party banner!

The design of this banner is super simple, but the right materials are what give it "pop". I adore this Cricut Glitter Cardstock - it cuts like butter and the colors are just amazing! I never would have been able to cut a design this detailed with other glittered cardstocks I've tried cutting. And I don't find myself looking like I've been visited by the glitter fairy after using it, either!
Supplies Used:
patterned paper (I used DCWV Primrose Stack)
Two of the banners will fit on each sheet of patterned paper. How many sheets you need will depend on how long you want your banner to be! I suggest measuring out and cutting your twine and then calculating how many of the 5.5" banners will fit on it (don't forget to allow for a bit of space between each one).

After you have cut all of the pieces that you need, you'll want to take a moment to arrange the patterns so they'll hang in and eye-pleasing order.

Once you figure out what pieces will hang in what order, then you can attach a crown to alternating banners with your favorite paper adhesive.

Finally, string the baker's twine (or some string) through the slots in your banners. Make sure that the twine goes along the backside of the banner and only shows on the edges of the front.
When you are done stringing the banners, tie the ends of your royal wedding tea party banner to a curtain rod, nails, or other anchor points. (Command Hooks work great for this purpose.)
